(This is the only option available because server groups are not available in nondomain-joined servers.) Important: In multiple server deployments, use only one server at a time to make changes to the configuration of the server group. Ensure that the Citrix StoreFront management console is not running on any of the other servers in the deployment. When I attempted to launch my Citrix Receiver on my laptop, I got the below error: When I attempted to put in my XenApp Server’s url e.g. I received the below error: I had two options, I could have created a certificate and configured for HTTPS or I could change my receiver settings on my client machine to allow. HTTP Store requires additional configuration before being added to the Citrix Receiver. Please contact your system administrator. This is because the best practice is to always use SSL, whether on the front end for clients or backend communication to your servers. I always take this approach in Production environments. Warning: Citrix Store Could not connect to the Citrix server. Citrix Receiver 13.0.x or newer on Linux only supports connections via HTTPS, and you have to make sure the device has a valid root certificate of the Certificate Authority (CA) available. If the root certificate is missing, the connection will fail.

When using Citrix or RDP, a user might experience the following message upon connection:

'The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Service License Servers available to provide a license. Please contact your server administrator.'

NotYour account cannot be added citrix receiver

This issue can be resolved typically by removing a registry key and reconnecting to the RDP or Citrix server.

3 Steps total

Step 1: Open the registry editor

While logged in as an administrator, click 'start'> 'run'

In the 'open' field, type 'regedit.exe' and click 'ok.'

Step 2: Locate and delete the MSLicensing registry key

Navigate to HKLMSoftwareMicrosoft key. Export this key for backup purposes.

Find the 'MSLicensing' subkey and delete it.

Step 3: Retry your connection to Citrix/RDP

Unable To Launch Citrix Receiver

Once the key has been deleted, you can try to open the Citrix/RDP session in question again. Note that you do not have to close Internet Explorer (if accessing via this method).

If the problem persists, check the remote end to ensure there is a valid terminal services licensing server online and available.

These steps can also be performed remotely, pending you have admin rights, using a remote registry connection via regedit.

I ran into this issue because I installed the RDS role for testing on the server I was attempting to connect to and after the allotted period of time (60 or 90 days) I had to have RDS licensing so it blocked any incoming connections due to licensing. Blank laptops & desktops driver. I simply removed the role, rebooted and was able to log in via RDP.
