Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch. Note: Depending on the amount of music being downloaded, this process may take several minutes or more. Check the progress of the download on the watch’s screen or in the Fitbit app (if your phone is within Bluetooth range). With the Deezer app on Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, you can download your Deezer playlists and Flow directly to your watch. After you download music, connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to your music.This feature isn't available on Fitbit Versa Lite Edition.

How do I set up apps on my Fitbit device? AgendaSee upcoming calendar events with the Agenda app .
To set up the Agenda app:
- In the Fitbit app on your phone, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Agenda. You may need to swipe up to find the app. You’ll see all calendars linked to the default calendar app on your phone.
- Adjust the settings to choose which calendars to show on your device, the color for events linked to each calendar, and whether you want to see blocks of free time.
- Sync your device to see today’s and tomorrow’s events from your calendars in the Agenda app .
To view events in the Agenda app:
- Open the Agenda app on your device. You’ll see the events scheduled for today and tomorrow. Swipe up and down to scroll through the events.
- Tap any event to see details.
Note that the Agenda app shows up to 40 total events over 2 days.

If your events don't appear, check the following settings:
- Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
- Calendar access must be turned on for the Fitbit app:
- On iPhones, open the Settings app on your phone > Fitbit > make sure Calendars is turned on.
- On Android phones, open the Settings app on your phone > Apps > Fitbit > Permissions > Calendar > make sure the access is set to Allow.
- On Windows 10 phones, open the Settings app on your phone > Privacy > Fitbit > make sure Calendar access is turned on.

Find PhoneWhen you can’t find your phone, use the Find Phone app to locate it.
Requirements:
- Your smartwatch must be connected (“paired”) to the phone you want to locate.
- Your phone must have Bluetooth turned on and be within 30 feet (10m) of your Fitbit device.
- The Fitbit app must be running in the background on your phone.
- Your phone must be turned on.
To find your phone:
- Open the Find Phone app on your smartwatch.
- Tap Find Phone. Your phone rings loudly.
- When you locate your phone, tap Cancel to end the ringtone.

NewsTo set up the News app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to News. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- To adjust the news providers whose content you want included in your list of articles, in the Providers section, tap Edit provider list.
- Open the News app on your watch. Up to 10 recent news articles are shown from the providers you selected. Note the following requirements:
- Your phone must be nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
- Your phone must have access to the internet.
- The Fitbit app must be running on your phone in the foreground or background.
- The News app must have permission to run in the background and access the internet. To check your app permissions, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps > News > Permissions.
- To adjust the article categories shown, tap Filter at the bottom of the list of articles.
- Tap Done to save your filters and return to the list of articles.
To bookmark and read an article:
- Open the News app on your watch.
- Tap an article headline. A short description of the article is shown.
- To bookmark the article to read later, tap the Bookmark button. You can bookmark up to 20 articles.
- To read the article, open the Fitbit app on your phone and tap the tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to News. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- In the Saved Articles section, tap the article you want to read. You may need to swipe up to find this section.
- To delete a bookmarked article, in the Saved Articles section, tap Edit > the x icon.

Philips HueTo control your lights with your Philips Hue system and Fitbit watch, your Philips Hue system must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone, and your watch must be within Bluetooth range of your phone.
Note for Android users: Due to recent Android security changes, your local network must be using one of the following IP address ranges: 192.168.0.0/24 or 192.168.1.0/24.
To set up the Philips Hue app:
- Open the Philips Hue app on your watch.
- The app starts searching for your Hue bridge. When prompted on your watch, press the pairing button on your bridge to complete the pairing process.
Deezer Code
To adjust your lights from your watch:
- Open the Philips Hue app on your watch.
- From the Rooms screen, tap on or off to adjust all the lights in each room. Up to 10 rooms are listed. If you have more than 10 rooms, use the Philips Hue app on your phone to adjust additional rooms.
- Tap the > icon next to a room to see the lights in that room.
- Tap the checkbox next to each light to turn it on or off.
- Swipe left to view the Scenes screen. Tap a scene name to set it.
To add new devices, rename lights, customize scenes, or organize the lights in each room, use the Philips Hue app on your phone.

StarbucksThe Starbucks app is only available in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada. To load your Starbucks card into the app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Starbucks Card. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- Add your Starbucks gift card or Starbucks Rewards program number.
- Sync your watch to see your card in the Starbucks app .
- To make a purchase, open the Starbucks app on your watch and hold the watch face near the reader.
To remove your Starbucks card from the app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Starbucks Card. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- Tap your card number.
- Tap the X to the right of your number.
- After your number turns gray, tap Save.
Visit starbucks.com or use the Starbucks mobile app to register your card, check your card balance, view rewards, or reload your card.

UberTo set up the Uber app:
- If you don’t have an Uber account, download the Uber app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Uber. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- Tap Login to be redirected to the Uber login page.
- Sign in to your account and follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your account and authorize the connection.
- Use the Uber app on your phone to set any preset locations, such as your home or work address. For instructions, see Uber’s help article.
To request a ride:
- Open the Uber app on your watch.
- Your watch uses your preset home and work addresses as your default pickup and destination locations. If needed, tap the swap icon to swap the pickup and destination addresses. To change your pickup location, tap it and select a different address. You can select your current location, detected using your phone’s GPS signal, or a recently used address.
- After selecting the correct pickup and destination locations, tap Confirm.
- The cost of the trip, estimated time of pickup, and estimated time of arrival are shown. Swipe left or right to select a service. Tap Request to request the ride.
- When a driver confirms the ride, the driver’s information appears. Swipe up to see the estimated time until pickup and cancel the ride if needed.
- To change your destination address or rate your driver, use the Uber app on your phone.
To set up the Weather app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- By default, the Weather app shows your current location, which can't be deleted. Add up to 2 additional locations you want to see in the Weather app.
- Sync your device with the Fitbit app. It can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations on your device.
If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:
- Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
- The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.
If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.
To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to swipe up to find the app.
- In the Temperature Unit section, tap Units and choose the unit you want to use.
- Sync your device.
- For apps to access the internet, your phone must be nearby with the Fitbit app running in the background and Bluetooth turned on. Many apps require internet access, such as Nest, Clue, Uber, The New York Times, Walgreens, Yelp, Surfline, and Flipboard.
- Check if the app has a pending update. For instructions, see How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit device?
- Turning off app permissions can cause the app to stop functioning. Check that all permissions are turned on:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Apps.
- Swipe to find an app on your device, and tap to open it.
- Tap Permissions.
- If any permissions are turned off, turn them on. Note that some permissions can cause your phone to use more data.
- Tap Save.
- If you see a caution icon next to the app in the My Apps tab, check the following permissions on your phone:
- Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
- Calendar access must be turned on for the Fitbit app:
- On iPhones, open the Settings app on your phone > Fitbit > make sure Calendars is turned on.

How do I download Deezer playlists to my Fitbit watch?Start here the first time you download playlists to your watch. If you previously downloaded playlists, skip to How do I manage the Deezer playlists on my Fitbit watch? for details about how to update your playlists.
- If you haven't already done so, make sure your watch can connect to your Wi-Fi network. For more information, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?
- On your Fitbit watch, open the Deezer app. If you don’t have the Deezer app, download it from the Fitbit App Gallery.
- Using a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer, open fitbit.com/deezer.
- Enter the activation code shown on your watch. If the activation code doesn’t appear when you open the Deezer app, see I'm having trouble activating Deezer—what should I do?
- If requested, follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your Fitbit account and choose your device. If you don’t see this step, skip to step 6.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your Deezer account or create a new account.
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Media > Deezer.
- Tap Add Music to see your Flow, featured playlists, and any personal playlists you’ve created on Deezer. If you haven’t favorited or created any playlists, visit the Deezer mobile app or website to do so.
- Tap playlists to queue them for download.
- Plug your watch into the charger. Music downloads automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap the menu icon > Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch. Depending on the amount of music being downloaded, this process may take several minutes or more. Check the progress of the download on the watch’s screen or in the Fitbit app (if your phone is within Bluetooth range). You can listen to and download music from Deezer on your phone or computer while waiting for your download to complete.
Wi-Fi won't work on your watch when the battery is 25% or less.
When setting up Deezer, open the Deezer app on your watch to see your activation code. If the activation code doesn’t appear:

- Make sure the device you have paired with your watch is nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
- If the code still doesn’t appear, press the back button on your watch and then open the Deezer app again.
If you see a code on your watch, but can’t enter it at fitbit.com/deezer, make sure you’re using the code displayed on your watch. Each code is tied to a specific user and device and expires after several minutes. If you’re not able to activate Deezer, contact Customer Support.
If the activation code remains on your watch after entering it at fitbit.com/deezer:
- Make sure the device you have paired with your watch is nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
- In the Fitbit app, choose the Deezer playlists you want to download, and then place your watch on its charger within range of your Wi-Fi network.
- If the activation code doesn’t go away on its own, press the back button on your watch and then open the Deezer app again.
Note that you need a paid Deezer subscription to download playlists to your watch.
How do I listen to Deezer playlists on my Fitbit watch?To listen to your playlists:
- After you download your playlists, connect a Bluetooth audio device, such as Fitbit Flyer headphones or a Bluetooth speaker, to your watch. For more information, see How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch?
- Open the Deezer app on your watch and tap the play button next to a playlist to start playing the music in that playlist. You can also tap the name of the playlist to see the list of tracks. You may need to scroll down to see all of your playlists.
- In the list of tracks within a playlist, tap Shuffle All or tap an individual track to play it. The equalizer icon indicates which track is currently playing.
- While music is playing, play or pause the track or tap the arrow icons to skip to the next track or previous track (returning to a previous track isn’t possible when listening to Flow). Press the + and - icons to control the volume.
- To open additional controls, tap the 3 dots icon. Here, you can change the Bluetooth audio output device.
- To listen to a different playlist, press the back button and tap a playlist. Note that you may need to reopen the Deezer app to choose a different playlist.
Note: Open the music controls to change tracks or control volume. From any screen, press and hold the back button on your watch and swipe to the Music Controls screen instead of opening the Deezer app.
Playlists update automatically and Flow updates daily when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network. To adjust which playlists are stored on your watch:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Media > Deezer.
- To remove a playlist, swipe it to the left and tap Delete. To add a new playlist, tap Add Music and select the playlists to download. Only the content not already downloaded to your watch is shown.
- Plug your watch into the charger. Playlists download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap the menu icon > Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch. To force a sync, the device paired to your watch must be nearby with Bluetooth turned on.
Because Flow is a personalized soundtrack based on the music you add to your favorites, it can take a day or two before Flow shows up for download in the Fitbit app if this is your first time using Deezer. For more information on Flow, see support.deezer.com.
Why can't I download playlists to my Fitbit watch?Plug your watch into the charger. Playlists download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch.

I received an out of space error message—what should I do?Your Deezer playlists update when your watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network. If you added more tracks to a Deezer playlist that’s synced with your watch, your watch may run out of space when it attempts to download the new content. If you receive this error message, remove some of the music downloaded to your watch:
- If you want to remove personal music on your watch, see How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?
- If you want to remove Deezer playlists on your watch, see How do I manage the Deezer playlists on my Fitbit watch?
- If you want to remove some of the tracks included in your Deezer playlists, manage your playlists through the Deezer app or website.
To download music without your charger:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Media > Deezer.
- Tap the menu icon > Force Sync Now.
Note that downloading music can be battery-intensive and Wi-Fi won't work on your watch when the battery is 25% or less.
Do I need to have my phone nearby to listen to my playlists?You can leave your phone at home. After you download your playlists and connect a Bluetooth audio device to your watch, you can listen to your music anywhere directly from your watch.
Why did my Deezer playlists disappear from my Fitbit watch?If you no longer see your playlists on your watch, it may be because your Deezer subscription expired or due to another problem with your Deezer account. For more information about your account, see support.deezer.com.
Make sure your watch is charged and in range of your Wi-Fi network to verify your account status periodically.
Why are some Deezer tracks not available for playback on my watch?Although Deezer allows you to upload personal music files to your playlists, these tracks can’t be downloaded to your watch. When you download a playlist that contains personal music files, the unsupported tracks won’t appear on your watch. Deezer App For Fitbit Versa
Occasionally, there are other reasons why a track from the Deezer catalog is unavailable for playback. For more information, see support.deezer.com.
I can’t start my free Deezer trial—what should I do?If you activate Deezer on Fitbit but aren’t offered a free trial, contact Deezer for more information about your eligibility. You won’t receive the free trial if you received a free trial to Deezer in the past or already have a paid subscription to Deezer.
How do I unlink my Deezer account from my Fitbit watch?If you want to use a different Deezer account on your watch or no longer want to use the feature, you can unlink your Deezer account. This will remove all Deezer music from your watch.
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image > Media > Deezer.
- Tap the menu icon > Unlink Deezer account.
- Tap Unlink, and your account, including all previously stored music, will be removed from your watch.
